Angela is a California based creative working at the intersection of art and gardening, the natural world and the unknown. Her practice is fueled by a profound hunger to develop a deeply nourishing connection to community and the Earth; through, cultivating a practice around nature awareness with whole system’s ecology. She questions and researches ways in which contemporary art can add to the discussion of food production, land use, the natural world, and the building of community.
With a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree, Angela incorporates the visual arts in her practice. She has been documenting her experiential research in farming and gardening, nature awareness, elemental herbalism, nutrition, and food studies through creating a number of two-dimensional drawings and paintings, photographs, a garden mural, and elemental immersion experiences.
